The stories are short, well written and easy to read. They explain about change within a business and around people in a gentle yet obvious way. It demonstrates just how important change management is within a business and especially if you are running any kind of project or transformation activity.
I am a Change Manager and I LOVE this little book. It will live on my desk and be highly recommended.
I was already familiar with the '5 Forces of Change' and thus the 5 Tales worked very well as a refresher on that subject. It would also work well as an introduction to the 5 Forces for somebody unfamiliar with them.
This book makes the rather dry, sometimes too academic subject of change management real and human. Anyone who reads it should enjoy it, and realise why change management is so important and how they can do it better.
