This product does all that it says. It's easy to use, and it works! I have plasterboard walls into which it's very difficult to put nails, screws, etc., but the Takker solves all that.I already have two pictures hanging on Takks and have tied up my clematis in the garden around them. It was so easy and although I believe we ladies can do these tasks just as well as men, I should perhaps mention that I am a pensioner lady and used it with no trouble at all.

A good idea but this will not work at all in our 23 year old house. The walls are plastered...plaster came away as I took out old picture hooks - but maybe it is super hard plaster. The takker tacks don't go in at all.

It does work on old woodem fencing in the garden but I still tapped the red button with a hammer, to save my hands. The Takker may come in useful...sometime...but even if it worked on our walls the hooks are very tiny and would only fit a slim cord or wire.

I have reverted to the plastic hooks designed with 4 little pins to tap into the wall. They go in easily, hold quite large pictures....and are also sold by Amazon and our local hardware shop.

I bought this in hope that i wouldnt have to drill more holes in our house. My girlfriend has quite an appetite for changing and moving pictures about. This works great. You do have to give it a couple of hits to get into harder walls but its not a problem once you get the knack.

After 2 and a half years with empty walls waiting for my workaholic husband to put all our pictures up, I had been threatening to get drill-happy for weeks. Not having used a drill before thus not being familiar with all the different drill bits and plugs for different situations, I kept delaying said threats! I began searching on the internet for advice and tips and never dreamt I'd find a miracle contraption like this! In half an hour I've managed to hang 9 pictures and a reusable calendar. It certainly makes light work of hanging frames etc. This is what I've been waiting for all my life, sad though it may seem! My house is now looking like my home and I am at last surrounded by all my art and photography. I haven't quite mastered getting a picture bang on exactly in the middle of a cross nor am I sure it would work for heavier items but for general use - it's truly brillaint. Get one now!!!

I bought this as I am always fiddling around hanging pictures & photos in our house. The house is 70 years old, and the takker pins went into the plastered walls without much problem. Took a few goes to get a feel for thumping it with the 'heel' of my hand.

We got a big, heavy, 2 metre long mirror for the hallway after redecorating. I thought I would give the takker a shot (unintentional weak pun). I put in 2 Takker pins at the 2 metre span. I tested them by hand, and they seemed pretty solid. Then gingerly tried the mirror. It seemed pretty solid on the bracket loops. It is still there 2 months later, so the claim of 10 kg per pin has passed the test with me.

It is time to buy more takker pins for a few more jobs. I have a couple of times recently noticed pictures sitting around friends houses, and offered to hang them for them. It is a job that many are 'getting around to', and it is nice to be nice by helping out!

The device is not perfect, but I would feel it quite a backward step to go back to banging in nails. Overall - I think it was worth the money.

No more drilling, rawl plugs and screws, just line up the takker, slam the plunger and you are done. I would use it for a massive mirror or heavy glass frame, but for normal sized pictures and canvasses it's perfect

Great product. We're not allowed to damage the walls in our flat so after having a bad experience with 3m command strips I decided to give this a go. The pins have held a 6 pictures up for over a year without any problems.

When I moved out and needed to remove the pins, they slid out very easily using the tool and only left a tiny (almost unnoticeable) hole on the wall. I made this even more unnoticeable by filling the hole with a tiny bit of tissue paper and then putting a dab of paint on the wall using my little finger - the landlord will never know!

Not suitable for all wall surfaces and requires some pressure to get it to work but once you get the hang of it it does the job on plaster
