Loved it!! The attention to detail and vivid descriptions throughout are completely mesmerising. A captivating read, encapsulating immortality, a recurring dream and rejuvenation. The concept of being able to live forever and all that comes with it is intriguing and quite eerie. The creative writing style enables the author to supply humour alongside suspense effortlessly. This was a very difficult book to put down as its unpredictability in terms of the plot made me read on into the early hours. I would highly recommend this book even if you think it's a genre you do not enjoy I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

5.0 out of 5 stars Taking Life 31 Oct. 2014

This was an enjoyable read. The author pays attention to detail, and has an engaging way to describe the setting, scenes, and characters. His description of a simple thing like a coffee spill is a work of art. And I'm sure I will never forget the vivid description of ice cream or look at it the same way again after its creative description. There are some lovely alliterations in the story, as well. In addition to the writing style, the story is entertaining, humorous, and thought-provoking. Would you really want to live forever in this world if you had the chance? The author makes interesting points why you might not want to.

Made want to keep reading. Engrossing and suspenseful, with an amusing look at the practical problems in the life of an immortal.

4.0 out of 5 stars Thoroughly engrossing, entertaining read 11 Dec. 2013
By gwen - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
A friend told me about this book, and based on his brief description, I honestly was not sure I would enjoy it. I also have become quite leery of self-published fiction, as much of it is simply awful. This book, in nearly every way, is an exception to both of my preconceived notions. The writer deftly manages a fantastic, somewhat nonlinear story and even manages to pull in pop culture references that easily elicit a smile and a giggle from the reader. The story features a little something for everyone, from historical fiction to mystery to comedy and even hot romance. This is escapist reading at its best. I just hope I don't have to wait too long to hear more from this author.
