Format: Hardcover
This is an extraordinarily well writtent story of the take-over of Getty oil conglomerate.
A family saga interconnected with the struggle for the company control in the era of wall-street take-overs of the eighties.
It has all the proper ingredients of an articulated fiction, suspence, greed, power struggle, unexpected turn of events with the charm of a real story.
Steve Coll brilliatly describes the growing climax in and out of the company to a detailed level that projects you right in the middle of the scene.
A masterpiece comparable to few other of this genre.
