Asher is such a lovable sweet heart he and Willow are made for each other they are such a strong wonderful couple that have such a connection.
This story just fills you with so much happiness and joy that the love over flows. The whole factor of Olivia bringing Asher and Willow together made your insides warm and mushy and indeed did bring a tear to my eyes more than once, at the cemetery and the wedding especially with the yellow roses on a seat for her, beautiful.
Asher's family really add a great closeness to the whole plot, i can imagine future books with them as the main characters, you want to get to know them more they are really nice people.
The whole story gave me a such a nice feeling inside, until i got to the epilogue then i was thinking why couldnt the author have just left me with the smile i had.
The part where Olivia came was kind of nice but the other parts i was thinking NO! dont let poor Asher go through this again, even thought hey had years before it happened he was still left with the hurt and heartache of losing another wife i didnt want the book to end like that, i wanted a HEA, i know Asher and Willow got it, but i didnt and i kind of left me feeling sad.
It was great seeing what sort of character Olivia was. And now open willow was about her memory.
Asher was an amazing man. Couldn't get over how much I loved his family.
The end was not needed though, it made me very sad that Asher was put through that.
Willow Emery is devastated when she discovers that she has breast cancer, not something you want to deal with but yourself, but sadly Willow is. Asher Wellington is still devastated of the tragic loss of his wife three years earlier and doesn’t think he will find true love again.
In a hurry to leave the treatment center after one of her Chemotherapy session, Willow literally bumps into Asher. They have an interesting first encounter, one that leaves Willow embarrassed, and in a hurry to get home, and Asher concerned, and drawn to the woman he has just met.
The storyline is told from Willow and Asher POV. It was a touching love story about second chances, loss, healing, friendship, family and moving forward. Will and Asher share a genuine connection, they are sweet together two lost souls who are not looking for love, but fate has other ideas. I loved the way Asher supports Willow he definitely her knight in shining armor and Willow is what Asher needs to see that he can find true love again.
“What on earth did I do right, how did I get a knight in shining armor?” ~Willow
“She is just so easy to talk to, and I can see myself telling her everything” Asher
Take A Chance is Annalisa Nicole début novel, and there is a lot of potential here. I liked the storyline and its concept, but did have I did have a couple of issues first was the dialogue between the characters, I got lost at times as to who was talking, and had to go back and re-read.
The second being the epilogue, and its hard for me to say this as I love my epilogues. After reading the ending, I was happy with the way things had worked out for Willow and Asher, and it left me with a smile on my face, but my smile was gone once I read the epilogue. I just didn’t get it, I don’t think it added to the story just didn’t really work for me, sadly I was left slightly frustrated.
Despite my issues overall Take A Chance is a heartwarming love story with likable main and secondary characters. I’m looking forward to book two of the series, which is about Asher’s sister Amelia.
A beautiful love story that was short but sweet.
This was such a lovely story that often bought a tear to my eye. Willow and Asher were a beautiful couple and I loved how you could feel how strong they loved each other.
There was the story line of Willows cancer but there wasn't loads of drama, this story didn't need it however so the fact that there wasn't, was perfect for this book.
It was just a beautiful love story.
Asher's brothers and sisters were nice character additions as they bought a more light hearted feel.
I loved the overall ending, it was perfect and what the characters deserved, however I didn't love the epilogue, I understand why the author added it in but it left me feeling sad, when the overall story had left me feeling uplifted and happy.
That is my only complaint though, the rest was perfect and this is just the book you need for an afternoon read and those who want a little love in their lives.

Wonderful love story. Willow is a strong women she got a little tongue ties after running into Asher but she didn't think she was in a place to have a relationship. Asher still grieving over his wife's death finds himself fighting against the attraction. Yet he finds himself unable to stay away. There are a few misunderstandings but not much drama. They both have feelings early in the story but they aren't acted upon. It is more of a slow build of getting to know one another and dealing with what is going on in their lives together.

This was my Saturday morning laying in bed until midday read.
This is a sweet love story between two people who have both been through their own struggles and sorrow in their lives and they literally collide. Physically she runs into him but their hearts collide too.
Asher is the kind of guy that every girl dreams of meeting, he is sweet, thoughtful and open with his affection. His family is so lovely too and I believe there are more stories to come about them.
Willow is starting to make head way in a new town and a new job when she receives some startling news. She has been alone since she was a teenager and is use to dealing with things alone, having no one else to lean on for support.
A chance meeting with Asher completely changes things for both of them. Willow is completely swept of her feet by this wonderful man.
It was so nice to read a story that wasn't full of angst and drama. Just a sweet love story.
