If, like I was, you are wishing you could move your PC to the loft/doorway/mid-air/behind the TV to get a WiFi signal, look no further! This antenna cable is as good as moving the whole kit, only you don't have to! Keep your PC where it is and let the wire do the work.

It has standard plugs so it fits on practically every wireless card with a detachable aerial. I used mine on a Netgear wireless-N something-or-other (dual antennas but I only moved one) and it works a treat. Good buy! Much better than bolting my PC to the underside of the stairwell.

This was just what I needed. I had a dead spot in my bedroom/study even though the router (d-link) was in the room next door(!). It was a simple fix, I just removed one of the antennas on the router and screwed the new cable antenna in - i believe its a standard fitting for most router antennas. As its 5m (over 15 long) I drilled a small hole in the wall and fed it through to my room with plenty of slack left over. The new antenna now sits proudly on one of my speakers beaming a 100% wifi signal to my laptop, ps3 and phone. This is a quick cheap fix and and much less bothersome or costly than a repeater or access points.

Very good cable of high quality.

Used to move the antenna from the Wi-Fi card on the back of the PC to another location in the room. Fitted perfectly and does the job with the signal strength going from 87% to 98%.

Cable fits the back of the Wi-Fi card where the antenna is mounted and the other end takes the antenna itself.

I was literally tearing my hair out in trying to use my desk-sited PC upstairs, to obtain photo and document scans using an adjacent printer/scanner, the PC-scanner connection path being a wireless link, going via the modem-router situated downstairs and some distance away. The problem was that the PC was on the very edge of the modem-router's range, and the reception of the wireless connection was very flaky indeed, and intermittent, due to all sorts of obstructions. I realised that the solution could not resolved in moving the PC, the modem-router, or both. The brilliant answer was to buy two of these extension cables (one for each of the terminals on the wireless card I use), unscrew the card's aerials, screw on the cable connectors in their place (I would recommend only finger-tight, no spanners!) and then, at the far end of the cables, screw on the aerials. The 5-metre length allowed me to trail the cables behind the desk from the PC, up on to the top of a tall bookcase, the aerials now much, much closer to the modem-router. Maximum reception all round! Excellent scans every time! Well recommended

I needed to get a better WiFi signal for a Google Chromecast device to work better in the bedroom. This was the easiest way of achieving it. My wireless router has three aerials on the rear, so I just disconnected one and added this extension cable and placed the antenna on the end of the cable instead of screwing it to the plug on the rear of the box. The signal now received in the bedroom is far better and the Chromecast is working great. From what I have read the Chromecast does require a strong signal in order to work properly.

The cable seems to be quite thick and well made and comes in a sealed plastic pack that requires scissors to open.

I expected that this product would be too long to offer a decent coverage of signal but I was wrong. I have this product snaking up my wall, across the loft and with an antennae on the end. The signal has to travel through the wall of the house, and through the wall of the garage which is 2.5m away from the house and it does. Perfect for what I needed it for and for anyone looking to simply send a signal through the interior of a house, it'll work fine for you.

My wireless outdoors security cameras had too many walls between it and the modem/router resulting in a poor internet connection. I ran the cable through the attic placing the camera's antenna closer to the modem/router; I now have a perfect internet connection.

The D-Link camera I have installed has a removable external antenna allowing the use of the extension cable with the RP-SMA connectors. Be aware that there is a difference the RP-SMA and SMA connectors. My D-Link camera uses the RP (Reverse Polarity) SMA connectors. Other contributors have stated their cameras used the standard SMA connectors.

I bought this product along with a TP-Link TL-ANT2414A 2.4GHz 14dbi Outdoor Directional Panel Antenna (which only has a very short cable) These products combined solved the problem I was having with my digital wireless CCTV camera completely. I needed the camera in an out building (stable) to connect to the monitor in the house which was some 15 metres away, but because the signal had to pass through 2 walls it was having none of it and would only connect sporadically. However after attaching the extension cable to the back of the camera in the stable, passing it through the wall and then connecting it to the antenna now positioned on the outside wall at the nearest point to the house, the connection is faultless with 4/5 reception at all times even in bad weather. If it wasn't for this I would have missed recording the birth of my foal, so to me very much worth the cost!
