Sadly, from the next 15 discs, only 3 burnt successfully i.e. the media was burnt to the disc AND verified thereafter.
So, eight discs from twenty isn't great and works out to be pretty expensive - from my experience, I'd say avoid.
I thought OK lets give it a go, well I have purchased from them before with no probs so decided buy a bigger pack.
I had 2 ISO images on my pc so I thought I would try burning with nero 11 on my internal LG Blu Ray Drive (pc) which is now about 2 to 3 years old with a maximim blu ray burn speed off 4X. Burnt at a 2X speed, as I dont mind the time but hate burn errors from trying higher burn speeds. Both discs burnt perfect and using nero disc check it stated no errors. I have a new sony blu ray player which to be truthfull is a bit fussy on what it plays or streams. But they both played perfectly with no skipping, blocking or audo problems. My next task was to back up some data as I dont just like to trust ! place to store stuff. Again worked perfectly. Pleased with these discs,
Meanwhile Amazon, that has an impeccable costumer service, has refund me and I've ordered the same product from Verbatim to test it. Let's hope these work properly.
Can you please help with this issue?
All burned at slowest speed on my pioneer BDR 207 EBK latest firmware now.All verified 100% fine at time of burning and watched most of these just after they were burned
Just Tried to watch a disc and my panasonic multiregion BD60 failed to read or play with out glitches and skips, thought the laser was failing so purchased another, same make/model off ebay.....same result
Tried on a mates machine and 2 different pc BD drives same result
All discs have had images printed on them but they all played immediately after burning
Anyone else getting problems with discs a few months down the line?
Have you printed onto the surface?
Not happy at all, many hundreds of gigabytes wasted :(
Some are irreplaceable
Have retried these discs and have found that NOW they are still usable after 5 months.
Have adjusted my rating accordingly to reflect this
I have a feeling some older BD-RE drives may need firmware updates for these discs.
I had problems getting these discs to even read in an older BDR-205 drive.
