It has been used a lot since it arrived a day or two ago, my wife drinks innumerable cups of tea per day and is very satisfied with the results, I don't drink the stuff.
It has avoided using the kettle and must have saved energy and therefore (tiny amounts of) money
It is over priced but not outrageously so. It doesn't look terribly long lasting as the barcodes are just stuck on bits of paper and given the steam created might easily peel off at some stage we shall see.
So far so good so recommended

I can't decide between either of the above two statements.....this simple piece of plastic has totally revolutionised our usage of our Tassimo. Previously, due to the hassle of needing to clean it, and lets face it some of the coffee flavours being not that great we hardly used our Tassimo.
However after buying the hot water disc we now have the Tassimo permanently on our kitchen work surface and use it for hot water for tea, instant coffee or even if an amount of hot water is needed for eg cooking or say for cuppa-soup (not tried with instant noodles yet!)
There are four 'capacity' settings on the device - we generally keep it on 250ml which fills a standard mug sufficiently for tea - however it is possible to then 'top us' should extra water be needed. Arguably being able to press one button and walk away whilst the mug fills up is more convenient than systems that require a lever or button to be constantly pressed. We have found that it is worth raising the cup platform so the top of the cup or mug is close to the spout to avoid hot water splashing out - or having a deep enough mug.
We have previously wondered about getting an instant hot water system such as Qooker for our kitchen but have been quoted over £1500 (we have thick stone work surfaces). Thus being able to have instant hot water for a few pounds is just revolutionary - and saves the risk that our work surface would be cracked - or we would install a unit that will stop working in a few years and leave a mess in the cupboard below the work surface.Read more ›
Also we have a T65 and it works perfectly so not really sure what happened with the reviewer who said he had a T65 and gave it a 1 star. It doesn't go everywhere, it's the same as a normal tassimo t disc. Also it closes fine, again just like a normal tassimo disc. I think perhaps he had a faulty one. Trust me, it works for a T65 perfectly.
