Retaining my lifelong fascination with coins - I still have the Victorian pennies I found in my change from my school days - I found this well written book both highly informative, without being too detailed, and totally absorbing. This excellent publication has reinforced my view of coins being valuable yet accessible artefacts of socioeconomic history.
