I actually liked this. Doesn't matter if it's German or not, it's a film that portrays all too well, the consequences of not just youngsters, but all those who drive recklessly and race on public roads. It's always the innocent that suffer. Sorry, but I found this a great film to watch.

If this were American it would be bad enough but because it is German acting like they thought they were Americans it is terrible. I thought they were intelligent . Wrong derivative rubbish.

HASH(0xa2c5cb28) out of 5 stars Sylvie Guillem DVD 18 Feb. 2013
By Rose - Published on Amazon.com
Format: DVD Verified Purchase
Sylvie Guillem is one of the most extraordinary dancers ever! I thought this DVD would share her life and how she became this beautiful, phenomenal ballerina. The DVD is like a home video, very poorly made. The visuals are horrible. For example, there is one scene where she dances Swan Lake and the visual is so poor, you cannot even see her extraordinary lines, feet, legs, etc. I am so disappointed. I want a DVD that highlights her life, but more so that shows her remarkable talent as one of the most beautiful ballerinas ever. This DVD does none of that. I believe this DVD was not made professionally - very poor quality and visual - it was made by an amateur.

HASH(0xa2c66c00) out of 5 stars Interesting look at modern ballet by a top ballerina 26 Feb. 2011
By northkona - Published on Amazon.com

Sylvie Guillam combines balletic beauty with incredible athleticism, and choreographs for herself a new kind of modern ballet. The DVD offers some insight into the artist at work on different projects. Before she became an established, independent dancer she was a member of Paris Opera Ballet when Rudolf Nureyev was its artistic director. She was named "etoile" (star) by him, the youngest person to achieve that rank at POB. Besides this DVD you can investigate her further at her website. She has racked up an impressive set of awards in France, England, and elsewhere. Nureyev thought she was the most dynamic dancer he'd come across, and compared her to himself when he was the hottest star in ballet.
