The unit itself is a giant button: the red power logo on the face is the on/off button, as well as the button for making and answering calls and pairing the device with your bluetooth product. There are two tiny buttons on the side to control volume.
It's a sleek design, and my Dad said that he found it comfortable enough. I, on the other hand, didn't like it at all - the size of the earbud was much too large. This may just be because I've gotten used to years of inner-ear buds, and this isn't quite that.
It certainly does give you excellent call quality, however, and given that this is its primary function, I can't fault it in that regard.

Behind the headphones is a small box containing the audio port cable which is useful to connect to devices such as games consoles that don't have Bluetooth. Also in the box is a rather cool black and red charging cable which is the same as for most android phones and surprisingly a little lithium ion battery which I have photographed.
First thing to is insert the battery. It goes in the left ear piece which is marked L on the inside of the headband. It is magnetic which I thought was clever. There is a hole at the top to get your nail in and separate the magnets. The battery goes in pins down with the CE marking on the battery facing out.
After that you need to turn them on and pair them. Hold down the middle button on the right ear piece for 3 seconds to turn them on and a green light appears. To turn them off it is also 3 seconds and the bleep and a red light flashes. To pair them with your music device they must be off. You then hold the middle button for 6 seconds until the light flashes from green to red continuously. Then do a search. The code is 0000 but I wasn't asked and my phone guessed the code and connected automatically.
The sound is very good and there are buttons for volume up volume down, call answer and skip song forward and backward.
15 hours of continuous working life.
180 hours standby.
Working range is the usual for Bluetooth and does 10 meters through walls without bother.
The microphone sensitivity is plenty for chatting and is specified as -42dB (microphone for answering phone calls only and not for use with consoles)
