I was looking for a watch that was simple, elegant, classy and good quality and this watch ticked all of those boxes. Style-wise it very much in the Omega or Rolex mould, although no where near the price of those. I was pleased to see that the second hand aligned with the markers on the watch face - something none of my other (cheaper) watches have achieved.
Something not mentioned in the description of the watch is that the bezel rotates anti-clockwise - if that is important to you.
I had 4 links removed from the strap by a jeweller (the strap has pins not screws connecting the links, that need to be driven out by a very fine pin-punch, and the rear of the strap has arrow markings indicating which direction you need to drive the pins out), and there is further scope to tweak the tightness of the strap on the clasp where the strap can join at any one of three positions. The clasp itself which is very secure with a 'pinch the sides to open' main action, held in place by a further clip over bar - if that makes sense.
The watch was delivered from Germany within two days of me placing the order (Design4stars was the supplier) and I'm certainly very pleased with the service provided.
The watch came very well packaged in a leather box, which itself was inside a cardboard box, surrounded by the usual Amazon packaging - all very good quality. The watch was mounted on a leatherette cushion, with a thick cling-film type plastic around the strap and watch face.
I'd certainly look to get another Swiss Military watch, and would recommend Design4stars as a supplier.
