I started off thinking this book would have a good storyline. Even though there was a storyline through it it got a bit tedious with all the sexual talk which got boring. But then again this is just my opinion and you may think different.

A brand new Nichol's Brother, OMG, and he is starting off the brand new spin off series, I fell straight into this book from the first page, Lauren creates characters that you instantly connect with, and this is Clay's brother who we have met before, so I was expecting Big, Sexy, things.

I wasn't disappointed, like his brother, he made mistakes with his women, I wanted to give him a slap and cheered once when he got one!! But he was strong, sexy, yet not afraid to lay his feelings out there, I mean he does it live in front of people.

I freaking loved Shannon, she is a great Blakely Girl, the sexual banter between the two was my best so far, she was great, feisty and sweet with a history that had me wishing I could quit work as I could not read this quick enough and get to the bottom of Shannon's family secrets.
Love, intrigue!! A gaggle of brothers and when I did get to the juicy bits, well.........hot as usual!

So excited for this spin off series, Lauren nails her male characters, ( he he he) and this had me as excited as I was when I saw the man on the cover. Lauren keeps going from strength to strength and her writing just flows effortlessly.

Sweet Sinful nights a sweet, sweet four-star read by Lauren Blakely. This is the first book in the Sinful night’s series. It tells us the story of college sweethearts Brent Nicolas and Shannon Paige, when we first meet them they are leaving college and starting life as engaged grown-ups. When Brent makes an ultimatum to Shannon to leave her dream and follow him to his she turns him down and walks away.
Ten years later Brent is successful business man he left his dream of professional comedy behind and just does the occasional skit at comedy clubs, as he still loves the comedy side, and has to keep up his reputation as King Schmuck. He is gaining great success creating nightclubs that are sinfully sexy, but not trashy. He hears about a dance company Shay Productions that put on a show and decides it would be a great fit for his clubs. Brent’s business partner arranges a meeting with the business owner Shay Sloan, and Brent decides at the last minute to go along as well, after getting back into town earlier than planned. That chance decision may well change this King Schmucks life.
Shay Slone is a successful business woman she choregraphs routines for her dancers, she loves her life. The thing is she also used to be known as Shannon Paige, but after a terrible incident her and her brothers changed their names and made the decision to make sure they followed their own life path and making their own decisions. Shay knows the company that she is going to meet belongs to her ex-fiancé but has been assured he won’t be there as he is out of the country. Until he walks into the meeting and her hearts starts a thundering beat.
Together they are both fiery and fierce. They still have the same passion as 10 years ago that could ignite a five alarm fire, but with that passion, there is also the anger and resentment. Will a love so deep that its survived time and oceans, or will the anger and resentment be too much for them to get over. Only time will tell.

I've read books by Lauren Blakely before and I love her stories, so of course I was all for reading this first book in a new series. And I have to say that I loved it :) The characters are intriguing and their story is simply heartbreaking. The writing is pretty good as in the other books by this author, which is of course to be expected. The book in itself is filled with intriguing scenes and tender moments that will definitely keep you turning the pages :)

Brent and Shay are amazing characters. I have to say that I was quite frustrated with both of them in the beginning as they were just acting too stubborn and like kids. That's why they got separated ten years ago. But in a hindsight, I think that just wasn't the right time for them. I think they both had to go into the world and find themselves, decide who they want to be and what is most important for them. And they did exactly that. And this second time around is the perfect time for both of them.

There are definitely some twists in the plot and I can honestly say that I didn't expect the ending. And I am sure that thee next books in the series will bring quite some danger and action into the story. The plot will definitely thicken. And can't wait to find out what will happen with Shay's brothers :) I am sure their stories will be as intriguing as Brent and Shay's :)

In a few words, the story is intriguing and it is full with tender and loving moments, masterfully combined with heartbreaking, frustrating and even dangerous at times ones. With every single page, I got more and more invested in the characters story and lived with them every emotion they felt. I loved getting to know Shay's family and I am simply dying to read their stories in the next books in the series.
