An astonishing new voice for the millennium, Jessica Simpson can really sing. From the amazing first single (and one of the best tracks on here) I Wanna Love You Forever, the anthem I Think I've Got My Eyes On You, and the perfect (there really aren't any other words to describe it!) Your Faith In Me, Jessica's released a stormer of an album that more than satisfies me (a HUGE Mariah and Whitney fan - so Jessica must be able to sing!). This deserves to make her stand out from the crowd - she really isn't just another Britney, but in my opinion (and this is fair - I have Britney's album too and I still prefer this and Christina Aguilera) she is far better. Go Jessica, you've certainly got my vote.

Jessica Simpson who can only be discribed as one of the best worldwide new commers in the pop/r'n'b/soul/gospel industry she is postivly following in the foot steps of chart toppers such as Louise, Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson and of coure Celine Dion & Madonna. Unlike her infamous cousin Britney Spears Jessica Dueted with a Ballad which we all know is hard to do. But She prooved all the crititcs wrong when her deut single "I wanna love you forever" stormed the UK charts at No.7. A lot of people say this album has too many ballads present if you think that your off your box this album has it all, 11 tracks + 1 hidden track, two duets and one song straight from her heart.
I WANNA LOVE YOU FOREVER: very ahrd not to sing along to! very moving and imbracing also hard to exsplain but you can seen the reason 4 its first single realse with this track you get a god show of Jessica's AMAZING vocal talent. 10/10
I THINK I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU: Another ballad song but sung as a pop song amazing she has got some truley amazing producers. very poppy up to beat a classic no wonder the 3nd single! 9/10
WHERE YOU ARE (featuring Nick Lacey): This song often over looked in the UK as the single was only a USA realse but its amazing Nick lacey slippin in on corners and backing vocals but this album is slowley sung before breaking into its embracing, amazing chours: 8/10
FINAL HEARTBREAK: When i 1st listened to this album Final Heartbreak really stood out it's a real karoke song and very Rock'n'Roll its very moving, very fututristic and very up to the momment its excellent and should of been a single! 11/10!

I wasn't too sure about buying this, but once I did I was bopping along all night. Almost every track is a sure-fire success. The ballads 'I Wanna Love You Forever', 'Sweet Kisses', 'Your Faith In Me', 'Heart Of Innocence' and 'You Don't Know What Love Is' all show off Jessica's brilliant voice which isn't really that much like Mariah. The up-tempos are all catchy and definitely make your feet start tapping. 'I Think I'm In Love With You', 'Final Heartbreak', 'I've Got My Eyes On You', 'Betcha She Don't Love You' and 'My Wonderful' all make you feel like singing at the top of your voice. 'Woman In Me' with Destiny's Child is a superb girl power song, and the girls' voices all go together perfectly, as do Jess and Nick Lachey (her boyf) in 'Where You Are' which I think is the only ballad on the album which drones on a bit. The two standout tracks I think are 'Woman In Me' and 'I've Got My Eyes On You'. If you like Mariah's ballads and Billie Piper and Britney's up tempos this is definitely for you.

I bought this CD based on the title track, which had received a lot of airtime. It is a good song but unfortunately misses out on becoming a "classic". Jessica has a wonderful voice but in the second half of this song (I wanna love you forever) she pushes it to far. The desperation to make this song work as a big ballad takes over and it falls apart because of it. The other songs on the album are pretty run of the mill stuff and I cannot help feeling have just been recorded to fill up the CD. Once again she sings outside herself and on many occasions I have actually switched to another CD because her voice becomes a high-pitched annoyance. A shame really. The inevitable comparisons with Britney Spears will be made, and in many ways it is a daunting task for Jessica Simpson to overcome. Comparing the two CD's just makes it clear. Britney hit the bulls eye while Jessica missed the target.

1. I wanna love you forever- Nice, her first song. It's a slow ballad. The only thing is that she pushes her vocals a bit too much at the end 4/5
2. I think i'm in love with you- It is nice but too overplayed now. I think her voice was too screechy in it. 3/5
3. Where you are- This is nice but the music is a bit repetitive. Slow song, not my favourite 3/5
4. Final heartbreak- The sort of song Britney would sing. It's really catchy, and the key change is cool. Maybe my fave song on here 5/5
5. Woman in me- If your the sort of person who gets annoyed by repetitive and childish tunes, then skip this. It's with destiny's child, but i just can't like it. No matter how much i force myself. 2/5
6. I've got my eyes on you- Repetitive but in a more funky way. It's good the first few times, but then it wears off. It's just annoying when she goes 'yeah, c'mon now'. A nice upbeat song 4 or 5/5
7. Betcha she don't love you- No, this just doesn't make it. The music is like Christina aguilera 'love for all season'. It's upbeat but boring. Not one of the best 3/5
8. My wonderful- yuk yuk yuk! No other way of describing it. 1/5
9. Sweet kisses- another love song. Boring and too long. Why'd she name the album after it? 3/5
10. Your faith in me- Oh, now i like this. Good song, almost gospel. It's a slowy. The words are good. Best slow song on here 5/5
11. Heart of innocence- About her virginity, a bit cheesy. It's another slowy. Ok, but i'm getting bored by this stage in the album. 4/5
12. You don't know what love is (bonus track)- ANOTHER ballad (would you beleive! ). It grew on me. 4/5
Ok, well if you like slow love songs, you'll probabaly love this. It does have a few upbeat ones but not many. I'd give it 3 and a half out of 5.
