Nice, simple knife that I won't mind using and abusing for chores around the house. It would be sublime if Svord made a blade that fit in between the mini and full size as I find the full size handles/scales to be a bit too large, while the mini's handles/scales are a tad too small for my hand. I find the mini easier to carry around in pockets due to its shorter length.

While I realize these are somewhat crude, pedestrian knives, the grind on my mini is uneven and has been a chore to sharpen on my Spyderco Sharpmaker. My full size Peasant Knife however has been a breeze to sharpen and takes an edge like no one's business. Because of this, I'm only giving the knife 4 stars.

2.0 out of 5 stars if you want to ensure a good blade. 4 Jan. 2016

I bought two of these and grind was really off on both of them. I sent them both back. A real shame as I have looked at these knives for a long time. I would suggest buying locally, if you want to ensure a good blade.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great knife. Awesome design! 25 Oct. 2013

I bought this knife as a gift for my son and liked it so much I got another one for myself. It is a very simple knife but feels great in hand and is very lightweight. These make great gifts. I like to give knives as gifts and this one is unique as it is made in New Zealand.
5.0 out of 5 stars New Zealand Knife... 16 Jun. 2016

...i collect knife. Being made in New Zealand, I bought one for my collection. Excellent, perfect 👌 ground blade steel. Not the safest knife 🔪 to use but not the most dangerous either. It appeals to me for camping/hunting type of situations. I adjusted both screws just the way I like 😊 it then put some clear nail polish 💅 on the threads (just as good as loctite). I use Vaseline and put a very thin coating on the blade. I used paracord to put thru the hole in the blade extension so I can 😊 tie 👔 it to my backpack 🎒 and/or belt loop and also use it for easily opening the blade. The bottom line is this is a low cost, fantastic cutting tool. I LIKE 😊 and recommend this to anyone interested in a more primitive styled knife...
