Marc is dealing with the fallout from Tara's interference and in an effort to keep her safe he tells her she needs to get away for awhile and so she does, when they're reunited their relationship is strained and now revolves purely around poker but this can only go on for so long since it's obvious they both miss the other.
This book had so much going on and it is, in my opinion the best one so far in this series, I loved both these characters and truly felt for the situation they find themselves in and while they want to be together it's looking less and less likely as Marc's family steps in.
I'm loving this series and this is, in my opinion the best book so far, while I've really liked the previous three books I only gave them 3 stars because, well I struggle with the rating of very short books, it just doesn't seem fair to rate them the same as a full length one, but then am I being unfair? anyway that all changed with this book, it was fabulous and while it's still very short, only 47 pages I loved every minute of it and there's no way I could rate it less than 4 stars.
I really, really can't wait for the next book.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

So the tension between Marc and Tara is there after she warned the german that people were looking for him. But something else is eating at Marc and it's not Tara.
But with fear of his family coming after Tara, and a few harsh words said to her by Marc, Marc has no choice but to cut ties with her for her own safety and tells her to leave town. Now on her own again Tara is bored and tries to get in a few games of her own but now realising just how much sway Marc and his money had and with a few calls and messages from Marc and Buffy wondering where she is and if she is ok, she calls them and Marc apologises for most but not all things. And he realises that he misses her friendship more than anything.
Will Marc and Tara get back what they had? Will they reveal their true feelings?

Jessa Jacobs has left me once again wanting more and to leave on a cliffhanger again, I silently cursed her because I didn't want it to end

Now Tara knows the truth about Marc's past she doesn't know quite what to do. Her relationship with Marc is tense as he's now unsure what his brother's return will mean. Wanting to get their happiness back she tries to follow his guidance to a T and ease his worries. But when things take a turn for the worse, Marc pushes her away to keep her safe.

Reminded of how alone she really is and with Marc pushing her out the door Tara takes off on her own, turning her phone off and forgetting everything else. But when Marc tries to reach out and get her back, will she return?

Loved this latest instalment and can't wait to see how it's going to end! Things with Tara and Marc are really starting to hot up, will they be able to get through the final tournament?

Each book in the Full Tilt Billionaire series just keeps getting better.
In Surrender the Bet, Marc and Tara return from the tournament in Vegas. Tara's one decision in Vegas puts both her and Marc in danger from his family. His only decision is to send her away, to save both of their lives. Will this finally be the split that ends their winning run, both in poker and love? Will Tara be able to forgive Marc for the things he said? Will she find out that she really can do it on her own?
Jessa continues to heat things up in the latest installment of this incredible series. I cannot wait for book 5 to see where she takes Marc and Tara next
