The first game, Mystery Of Another World sets you on a quest to find your young son who mysteriously disappears while you are on a train journey.
There is just the right balance of HOS and puzzles, and plenty of interesting game play and adventure. It took me about 12 hours to complete.
The puzzles vary in difficulty but you have a reset button to go back to the beginning of each puzzle and try again, which is useful.
There is no strategy guide but plenty of hints if you need them, and it doesn't take too long to recharge.
I would suggest trying absolutely everything in your inventory as the uses of items are not always obvious i.e. use string to saw off a wooden torch, OR, tickle a venus fly trap. Weird!
An excellent game throughout.
The second game, The Noise She Couldn't Make is equally good. You are a psychic who must use your powers to help probe the mind of a young unconscious girl and free her from her fears.
This took about 12 hours to complete.
In the menu it says there is a strategy guide, but if you click this it takes you to the internet. I needed a walkthrough though as some of the puzzles are quite difficult while others are relatively easy and logical.
A very interesting game and you will spend a lot of time really thinking things through, which is great, and rewarding when you solve problems.
Two fantastic games, I wish there were more like them. I can really recommend this.
