Fibafirst Rabbit is a complete feed for adult rabbits. Using only the very finest ingredients, Fibafirst is a high fibre diet that satisfies the natural nutritional and physiological needs of your rabbits. It is vital that rabbits are able to forage and chew to satisfy their natural feeding behaviour. With longer fibre particles and a larger portion size, Fibafirst extends your rabbits’ feeding time, promoting dental and digestive health, as well as enhancing emotional enrichment. With its unique appearance and texture it looks, feels and smells natural to your pets and caters for their innate feeding behaviour, as it’s much closer to the diet of an animal in the wild. Fibafirst Monoforage has been formulated by Supreme Petfoods to provide very much higher levels of fibre – up to 30% – that are much closer to the natural grass-based diet of a wild rabbit.

At first my bunnies adored this treat, they could not get enough of it, but the novelty wore off and they stopped eating the sticks after a month. However, the nutritional content of the fibafirst sticks is excellent, very high in fibre which is beneficial if you have bunnies that have previously had gut stasis problems. They also help with keeping teeth nice and trim.
So after giving them a break I persevered and it paid off. My bunnies now have a few sticks plus a few science selective nuggets morning and night, and they always eat them. This has enabled me to reduce the quantity of their nuggets and I'm sure will help maintain a healthy weight, in conjunction with lots and lots of hay. As a bonus the 2kg box really does last well! Make sure you keep a peg on the top of the bag as I the bag tag is easily lost and it is important to keep the fibasticks fresh.
I would recommend to others, but you may need to persevere. Rabbits, like children will go for 'new' or less healthy options, so make sure to only offer them a range of healthy foods!
They come in a plastic bag within a box which is useful and the sticks are approximately 10cm long. They are great for the rabbits to nibble on as they seem to keep them occupied as well and being good for them. There is no mess as they eat the whole thing too which is fab.
I will definitely be buying these regularly to spice up the diet of my fluffballs and to make sure they are getting everything they need.
I have noticed that they won't take the treats off me at times and I believe it is because they are not hungry as they do end up eating them after a while if I have left them on the floor.
I have a tin where I store the treats, when the buns hear or see the tin they run straight up to me - I kneel down with the tin open and let them take one each. They then hop off to nibble on their treats 😋
The box of treats lasts me approximately 3.5 months, which is good especially for the price I can get them on monthly subscription.
Update: After a couple of days my rabbits seem bored with these. I give them a few with their usual nuggets and they very rarely finish them.
