NOT a book on superstitions...

...or folklore either! This is just another list of gods, monsters and demons from around the world. There are plenty of others that do the same job but in more detail. This compilation barely scratches the surface, and it's expensive so don't waste your money. There's virtually nothing on 'superstitions or folklore', just a few proverbs here and there. I gave it 2 stars because it looks good, and the illustrations are OK.

This book IS NOT about myths or legend or about their histories. It is just a list of deities and a few mythological creatures from around the world. It isn't even very detailed. This is an absolute waste of money since there are far superior books on mythology out there. Be warned that this does not do what it says on the tin. Clearly whoever wrote the blurb didn't bother to read the book.
