This is the most honest and accurate account of motherhood I've ever read and I found myself laughing and crying in equal measures. I love the way it tackles the big emotions of guilt and anger head on in the first chapter and instantly brings relief to the reader that it's OK to feel that way. I just wish I'd read this 5 years ago! Not ever reader will connect with every part of the book but it's so comprehensive that I'm sure there's something in there for everyone and I have no doubt this book will change lives. Throughout the book there are practical strategies for managing our emotions and thoughts - and it's something you can easily dip in and out of at times of need. It's definitely going to be my go-to present for all new mums and I've already bought it for many of my mum friends. Highly recommended!
It just understands the relevance and importance of not always having to wear a cape whilst being a mum.
It shares the realities of becoming a mum and everything being different.
It let's you know that you are not alone and that is vital when riding the parenthood train.
