A bunch of geeks working in a lab at a secret location in the Nevada desert - WOW !
It's the first and most neglected of the Andersons' animated series and shamefully difficult to find in the UK - but it's still got it for me.
Technically crude compared to later Andersons' work like Thunderbirds - but just great ! ! !
I'm just wondering if I'm sad enough to go for the complete set of supercar episodes available only from the USA / Canada as a DVD set in NTSC format ?
Although the episodes you will find on this video may not measure up to the standards of those later on in the serise thease four lets just say a small sample of what is to come later on.
This video is by no means the best but spells the beginig of a whole new level of entertainment not just for Gerry Anderson but for viewers old and new.
The Tracking Of Masterspy: First off we get a show down with Supercar villain: Masterspy! Then in Phantom piper: the Supercar team must solve a real Scooby-Doo like mystery inside a haunted castle! We get a dose of Deep sea danger in Deep Seven: When Mike pushes Supercar's underwater diving ability to the limit he gets more than he bargained for!
Finally in Pirate Plunder:The supercar team take on a modern day pirate who is attacking pleasure yachs in the pacific. Who will sink and who will swim?
