Product description

Amazon.co.uk Review

Did you follow Popstars: the Rivals? Have you ever dreamed of one day becoming a pop star yourself? Then this could be the CD-ROM for you. Produced in association with the hit TV show, this package will appeal to every trendy wannabe star, especially those aged five and above.

Earn your way to the top, and compete against a friend or a computer rival to become the hottest star in "Universal City". Create your own unique superstar, design your look, create a fabulous style (from over one million different looks), show everyone you know what's hot or what's not, make the right decisions for your character and build star power. Decide whether to go to parties or charity events, get ready to perform in a video, steal the spotlight with your dance moves (choose from 25 hits from favourite artists including the A-teens, Sophie Ellis Bexter, Samantha Mumba, and many more.) When you are ready, make your debut, post the video you've made online and compete against other stars (all done in a safe online community). E-mail your friends and get them to vote for you. Achieve your dream--get voted No 1 and become a real superstar.

Easy to navigate and graphically superb, this is a fun, interactive package that will appeal to boy and girl wannabes alike. The accompanying pamphlet concentrates on installation, (which is easy) and though the interface is straightforward and simple to use, help may be needed for the very youngest stars. Though not a substitute for the real thing, this is a fun, safe way for children to begin to live out their fantasies of fame and fortune. --Susan Naylor

This is quite a good music game for young lids aged from around 7-14, particuarly girls. You create your own popstar and you have to dance to various different pop hits, from A-Teens to Sophie Ellis-Bextor, whilst competing against your rival.
It's not really taxing, but it is fun, and kids should get some enjoyment out of it. not bad for only a tenner!

I think that Superstar Rivals is quite a boring game.. you don't really do anything to become a superstar. This game is like monopoly but asking superstar things.. I recommend this to people who likes monopoly games..
On the other hand, this game has only some places I liked like making up your contestant, or making your videoclip. Gave it two stars because it gets boring later.....
