"An exceptionally easy-read, in a conversational style that's like chatting to a knowledgeable mate who passionately wants you to succeed. It bubbles over with nuggets on every page. It is a highly practical book, based on his experience as a successful recruiter and business owner, is free of jargon and full of vivid language. It'll definitely leave you feeling all the more wiser and motivated to get that job." --Nicky Torode, Raise Your Game
About the Author
Simon Gray began his recruitment career in 1999. Ten years later, he jointly founded Cherry Professional Limited, a recruitment business dedicated to providing the best career advice to jobseekers. On this topic he is an experienced commentator on BBC Radio and is regularly quoted in the media, offering tips to both jobseekers and employers. Simon is also a Chartered Accountant and qualified with KPMG before embarking on his recruitment career - this specialism calls for rigour and a sense of detail in everything, something that he continues away from the office as an accomplished Martial Artist, spending two years living and training in Japan. In 'Super Secrets of the Successful Job Seeker', Simon combines this mental discipline, the psychology of people and his expert knowledge of the job market, to give the jobseeker that all important edge.

My job search has been a global one and Simon’s experience and approach has helped me significantly, by staying focused on the process of how to find my next job, and not necessarily the outcome of landing the job, which really helped my thinking and approach. It was Simon’s ability to get me to think differently and approach the job search unlike anything I’ve ever read or heard (e.g.Read more ›
