Lori King has weaved a balance of love, happiness, tears and wonder throughout Sunnyside Up. My heart fit to burst for Lacy when Leo stood up to be the father she had needed. The Crawley Creek family pulling together to ensure Drannon's surprise is realised.
The family keeps growing but love, friendship and hope keeps you turning pages.
Lacy and Drannon have had one problem after another and have in a way been pushed into a humorous wedding in Las Vegas.
Whilst there dream "I Do", were suppose be on their ranch in North Dakota but unfortunately it was was flooded.
Now they are back home together at Crawley Creek, Drannon has a plan he wants to give Lacy the reception she has always dreamed of. However things do not go as he planned. As their happy day is beset by all sorts of issues.
Know all of the residents of Crawley Creek are hoping and praying things turn sunny side up in the knick of time for the wedding of the decade.
A short and sinfully sweet beautiful read and as always Lori King has managed to captured my heart as well as my soul.
I Love Drannon he is so sweet and kind he is kind of man every girl dreams of but only a few are lucky too get in real life.
Lacy she is so endearing lovely and well lucky as well she has awesome man a great family, i love her gumption and how she gets things done.
I loved all the updates the author included in this book about the family and what was going on with them all, as well as what changes that are coming it gives us that extra bit so we no and pick back up on the bits we love about the other characters and there lives.
So much amazing-ness packed in to a small but amazing read you certainly see the sunny side of life after you read this awesome book by Lori King.
5 Out Of 5 Hearts From Cariad Books
Nature is doing its utmost to scupper Lacy’s wedding plans, well renewal reception actually but when the ranch is flooded, she may just have to rethink the whole idea. Oh, honestly what am I thinking, she has Drannon by her side, there is nothing he isn’t going to do to make sure she gets the day of her dreams. And with the rest of the town keeping everything crossed for them, this may just turn out to be more than anyone had bargained for.
I like this town and I love getting to grips with these cowboys, the work hard, play harder and love to a level that I have run out of words.
But this short little peak behind the big day is littered with so much more than lace and flowers, it dishes up a relationship that teeter on the brink…can it be savaged?
Secrets that refuse to lay down and go away and a visit from Social services that does more than ruffle a few feathers.
The story is flurry of activity all crammed into a full filled few pages, but the characterisation and content are completely on point. Each of these guys was a story that has been just delicious to read, they have a bond that not only brought them together but keeps them together, brothers in all but blood.
A charming story and a note in the diary to catch up on the rest of the series.
I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review.
