HASH(0x98bf799c) out of 5 stars Very enjoyable 4 Jan. 2014
By Polywogy - Published on Amazon.com

This is a very enjoyable book. That may seem surprising, given that several plot points involve a plague, human slavery by another name, and a country dominated by evil corporations, all in a world radically reshaped by global warming. But it's also written with humor and humanity, focused on the ways it is possible to build a life around positive change, even in the midst of hardship and injustice.

If you are looking for a cheerful, progressive, semi-steampunk scifi novel with a diverse cast of characters, this one could be for you.

HASH(0x98df0030) out of 5 stars both wickedly smart and capable in very different ways 17 Sept. 2014
By Reggie Lutz - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
This is a really solid debut effort. One of the things that struck me as a significant standout in terms of the story line is that the central relationship of a book that hinges on sky-pirates and commercial espionage, the central relationship of the story is the two sisters, both wickedly smart and capable in very different ways. This one was unique.
