I'm not very good with words but I felt that the other review on here wasn't very detailed so i'm having a go.
Lin Sangster is an immensley talented songwriter who fronted the cult Liverpool bands Send No Flowers and Kit. Why it has taken her so long to release her (in a sense) solo album is bizarre. It's very lo-fi and acoustic but i wouldn't compare it to Badly Drawn Boy, it's more like Shack (especially Mick Heads wonderful Strands album), Bob Dylan and a touch of PJ Harvey (the track Slow Murder especially.)
I find it hard to say what my favourite songs are as i love them all, but the ones that grabbed me on the 1st listen were Ridin' High, Seeing Things and I Saw The Sun.

Another classic. This is one of the best albums i've heard all year. I got into the when they played with The Animals That Swim.
There's plenty of variety and i'd recommend it to anyone into low fi pop such as The Koreans, Badly Drawn Boy or Mum.

I bought this on the strength of a review on Teletext (remember that?!) and I wasn't disappointed. Lazy sounds - acoustic with a hint of electronica - lovely songs. I can't put my finger on quite why I like it but I do and I have no idea who they're similar to. My copy had a funny little 10th track on it (11 seconds).
Can be heard on the web if you know where to go...

A good album. I picked a copy up cheap and it's the perfect CD for summer days lying in the sun! Lin Sangster is a very talented woman.
