This is an absolutely beautiful book, it brings to life a whole range of dishes that i simply never been exposed to. I attended a cookery course run by Sumayya in Oxford and so I already had attempted a couple of the recipes here, however the vast majority were entirely new to me.
The recipes are clearly written and the beautiful pictures are a real inspiration.
Love this book, the recipes are a good mix of the traditional and contemporary. It's really great to see a cookbook that reflects Pakistani cuisine and culture in such a beautiful way, the personal pics, anecdotes and food pics are lovely. I'm not sure the chef/author has really got her dues, I'd like to see her enjoy more publicity as in my opinion she's captured the nuances and flavour's of a cuisine that needs more recognition.
What a stunning book, the pictures are beautiful, Sumayya is an eloquent writer and the recipes are making me drool. Definitely recommend as recipes are varied with ingredients easy to find in any Asian grocery.
Excellent cookbook. Has various Asian recipes, with easy to follow instructions. I have tried five so far & all have been top notch! The book also has a nice story, explaining where the recipes have originated. I would recommend this product.
