What more can you say?
250g of Hazelnuts ( soaked in water over night )
750ml - 1000ml water ( add more or less if you want it thicker )
4-5 dates to sweeten ( or honey )
Throw it all in a blender and hit the button.
Then use a nut milk bag for best results.
I then put the milk in a clean blender with a banana and some cocoa powder for an awesome milkshake!!!
I love the taste of Hazelnut 'milk' - mega expensive to buy in the shops, and these make an even better 'milk,' at a much more affordable price.
Toasted and ground, they make a superb hazelnut praline for hand made chocolates.
These versatile hazels are good value for money at the current price, and well worth buying, even if you just want to throw a handful into your cereal or have a few for a snack.
Try them in a "Thousand Nut Roast" - I'm not a veggie, but this is delicious - it was made for me once, based on hazels, and it was one of the nicest meals I've ever eaten.
