OMG Susan Mac Nicol another book in the series and another 5 star result!

Leslie story is... well is full of Leslie LOL, is charming, sweet, funny, camp, romantic, sexy, its everything I was expecting it to be and more.

It was a beautiful book, after Sight and Sinners we were all left expectantly waiting to hear Leslie's. We have fallen in love with him since the fist book in the Men Of London Series. We knew that inspire of being such a cute and quirky character he also had a very sensitive side to himself and that whomever fall for him was in for a multicolour ride!.
The story begins when Leslie is asked to deliver a suit to a prominent client from the company he works for, Debussy. What we don't expect is him being greeted by ex-porn star and total sex God Nicky Starr, however he goes by his real name now and is carrying a hell of a lot of bagage. What happens once Leslie sets foot inside Oliver's house sets in motion of a multitude of funny yet heartfelt encounters. You see Nicky (AKA Oliver Brown), has been terribly hurt, in more ways than one, and the psychological and physical scars he is carrying have been a hinder for him to properly form ties with anyone. However he wasn't expecting Leslie Scott to knock at his door, wearing an uncomfortable thong and a killer smile. His life will never be the same. We also are joined by previous characters Eddie, Gideon, Travis and Draven from the last books, well Leslie needed his friends too!!

I totally adored this book. It had so much charm, it had so many LOL moments but also had romance and very very steamy encounters.

Well done Susan Mac Nicol for another enjoyable read.

5 massive CAMP stars.

Susan Mac Nicol became an autobuy for me with her wonderful Sight and Sinners tale, and this book is just as good, though very different. The Men of London tales are connected, with Eddie from book 1, Taylor from book 2 and Leslie being friends and former flatmates, but they could be read as standalones, as they do. Stand alone on their own merits, that is.

Unlike the darkness and seriousness of S&S, this tale has a lot of snarky humour and wit from Leslie who has an oversized heart of gold, and who unfortunately suffers quite a bit from foot-in-mouth-itis; the latter gives rise to a lot of laughs, and also some very tender, very emotional moments. Oliver, mired in darkness and some degree of very understandable depression, fully deserves the happiness, sass and brightness that Leslie brings him, though he's not convinced of this himself, and his demons and insecurities rear their ugly heads more than once.

I loved that although they were entirely opposite in outlook and character, they meshed as well as Draven and Taylor, though with a very different relationship. I loved how much of Leslie's LOL thoughts I was privy to, and that everything he did was from the heart.

This tale reads a lot quicker than S&S, but has all the elements that I need in a MM romance - a proper tale, great, really sweet leads, hot passion (and yes, I'm talking about a certain very 'visual' scene that I can claim a connection with. Thanks, Susan, you rock!), really sexy and earthy sex, some heartache and angst (there's a moment in this tale where I literally felt a pang in my chest at the words one of the leads utters as his happiness seems to be about to be snatched away), loyalties tested and a lot of courage on the part of both guys.

This this book in this series is where finally Leslie meets someone who he feels could put up with his 'high maintenance' as he puts it. Oliver was once at the top of his chosen profession as a model and a porn star, going by the name of Nicky Starr. After an horrific motorbike accident when he was badly scarred he becomes a total recluse, only going out on the rare occasion to buy necessities or meet up at secluded coffee bars with a tiny handful of friends. His passion is beautiful suits made by the infamous Laverne Debussy. When Leslie who works for Debussy, is asked to deliver a suit to the address of an Oliver Brown he's amazed to find it's the home of his dream man, and decides he's going to be a friend to the lonely recluse. This is another book you won't to put down.

Couldn't wait for Leslie's story and Susan Mac Nicol did not disappoint. Leslie's quest for love is such a fab tale. His mouth is hilarious and I actually laughed out loud at the funny things he says. But he's also the cutest, most adorable boy with an insatiable love of life and drama, fashion and sex...lots and lots of sex. When he meets Oliver and their story unfurls, I couldn't help but hold my breath page after page until I discovered their fate. It was fab that Eddie, Gideon, Taylor and Draven were a big part of the story, but Nicky Starr aka Oliver Brown was a fantastic new character and so well portrayed. There were lots of tears (me and Leslie both!) and much amusement, and definite panty melting moments. Loved it all - Leslie is positively divine and my most favourite of the Men of London so far. The series has been excellent and I love that it is set in my home town. Well done Susan Mac Nicol on surpassing your self as usual - each one is better than the last. :)
