Phew - these tights are compression tights...as in COMPRESSION tights.
Perfect as that is what I wanted - for exercising (walking and running) but do not make the mistake of 'sizing down' for extra compression! In my experience, my normal size delivered the compression effect perfectly anyway.
They feel 'the business' and have moisture/heat technical ability sewn into them too - plus a few little reflective patches that help in low light when road running.
I bought these for under £30 in the boxing day sale and they were a bargain for the level of technical fabric/build supplied.
Very pleased. Would buy more/again.

Very pleased with these. I am a size 12 and the medium gives me good compression level.
Certainly seems to be helping muscle recovery. It feels like it anyway, I suppose results will tell in time!

Update: March
While the leggings continue to be brilliant at compression, are lovely to wear and wash well, the reflective bits and the writing is coming off quite a lot already.

Good at keeping your legs going, my legs feel more supported. These are probably best for temperatures above freezing as my legs did get a bit chilly when it was in the minuses on long runs. The reflective stickers came off in the first wash though I don't see the point of them being put on if theya re just going to come off!

The tights are meant to be compression, but I am a size UK 6-8 and the XS are exceptionally tight. Also, the white labelling all fell off within a week. In fairness to the product, if you are XXS and the labelling doesn't bother you, I think they are very flattering tights and they keep their shape without sagging. Also, high tech fabric...

HASH(0x94a75684) out of 5 stars Great compression tight 13 Mar. 2011

I've been in training for a half-marathon for nine months now, and several months ago I began investing in compression tights. This was my first ever pair, and I have been suitably impressed with them. They certainly do "keep you together" when running, and make longer runs (i.e. more than 10km) easier on the quads and hips. They are quite small though - I'm a US size 4 (175cm, 57kg) and expected the XS to fit around the waist and leg, however after checking the size guide I purchased the small and it was the right fit: buy a size up from usual, as they do run small. I'm happy with Sugoi and have purchased a number of their other compression tights since. You won't be disappointed.

HASH(0x94a758ac) out of 5 stars Here's a Sizing Chart 17 Jan. 2013

These are great tights! I bought them for cycling, running, as well as recovery. I'm a triathlete, but I've never owned a true pair of compression tights. These are fairly thin, but I live in a warm climate. The seams all feel smooth, and the reflective qualities are fantastic. I normally do not like contrast seaming, but these are actually flattering. There is a drawstring at the waist and a small key pocket inside the waistband (front right). A large area of the crotch is double thickness, which is a huge plus! I agree that you should probably size up, but it really depends on your proportions. I normally wear a small, but I usually size up in bike shorts and tights because I don't like the waistband digging into me (I have twin mommy belly). I wear size 4 in jeans, pants, skirts, and dresses almost across the board with a few exceptions. I'm 5'3", 125 lbs. I ordered a medium, and they fit well. I'm sure I could get a small on, but they'd likely be tight at the waist. Here is the sizing chart on the actual package.

XS: Thigh 19-21", Calf 11-12.5 ", Waist 24.5-26"
S: Thigh 21-23", Calf 12-13.5", Waist 26-28"
M: Thigh 23-25", Calf 12.5-14", Waist 28-30.5"
L: Thigh 25-27", Calf 13.5-15", Waist 30.5-33"

My measurements are (approx) thigh 22", Calf 14", Waist 28" (my natural waist is 28", I'm actually bigger at the belly button and below where these would be worn). I ordered M. According to the size chart, the calf should be really tight, but I think it's just right. Yes, it's tight, but it's supposed to be. The thighs could be a bit tighter for compression, but they are still pretty tight. The waist is just right. So, I'd say the sizing chart is pretty close to accurate. Remember, there is a drawstring, so because of the compression factor, I'd order up on the waist if you are between sizes, as you can always tighten the drawstring. I have big calves, generally, but I don't feel like my thighs are all that small. I would probably go by your waist size unless you have one measurement that is way out. I hope this helps, as I always hate when there is no true sizing chart.

HASH(0x94a75b10) out of 5 stars Fantastic price for a GREAT compression tight 23 Jan. 2013

LOVE that I found these tights at about half price on Amazon. I wear them for endurance workouts, including running and they make your legs feel great immediately once you put them on. If you are a runner, do CrossFit or just want your legs to feel supported, try these tights. Well worth the price.

I especially like the extra panels which provide low back, hip flexor and IT band support. I now own 3 pairs.

I got these along with the Sugoi mid-zero tights to train throughout the New York winter for a Spring marathon. They are very comfortable with nice compression. they stay up beautifully and I like that they tend to run long at the ankles. My other brand tights are a little short, but these nicely overlap my socks. I own a few pair of quality running tights and Sugoi is my favorite brand.

HASH(0x94a757b0) out of 5 stars Love these compression tights! 1 April 2012

Purchased the shorts in a running store in my area and fell in love with them so I went on Amazon.com and bought these long compression tights for colder days. They are so lightweight, I feel like I dont have anything on yet they keep all my muscles compressed and warm during my runs. I highly recommend Sugoi Piston 200 tights!
