I loved yo re-read these books as you never get sick of them
I can't recommend this book enough. Everyone should get a chance to meet these amazing group of friends
Extra book Details: Heroine & Hero POV; 1st person. Approx 330 kindle pages.
'Sugar Rush' just didn't work for me. Ironically, it's biggest flaw was that it was just too freakin' sweet. It really needed something raw, or dirty, or some real conflict to even it out.
I just felt that the great things that this series is known for, had gone too over the top. The silly humour, though sometimes made me LOL, went too silly and into stupid territory. The cuteness got too fluffy. The 'I love my friends and family' spiel.... Gah! I tried not to throw up in my mouth the amount of times the characters declared how much they love each other, how awesome they think they are, how they love seeing so-and-so together, how fabulous everyone looks....
I got tired and skipped some, the first half felt slow, there were a lot of involvement with the other characters and not so much between the leads.
Sometimes I liked the funny and cute, at times it was enjoyable. But I really don't know about reading any more BA books. I might try another, but after waiting for this, reading this, RAW, numerous books in the works, the unfinished Night Fury serials.... I might not.
Belle Aurora did it again. Another amazing book. If you haven't read the Friend-zoned serie you really should. All three books are amazing.
You get a nice recap of the two previous stories included in the book which was really nice. All the characters are back in for more fun and they are still as hilarious.
This book had me laughing out loud and crying, sometimes both at the same time.
This is such a beautiful story, not only a love story but a life lesson too. It touched subjects such as depression, handicap and how a single dad to a 13 year old girl has to deal with her being a teenage.
The supporting characters brought so much to the story as well, all interacting with each other.
The dual pov was really nice and gave another depth to the story, getting their POV on what was happening.
It was such a funny, sweet, sexy and touching story. I couldn't put it down at all. All the characters were realisting and so funny and touching, making them more real.
i recommand this book to anyone who is a sucker for amazing romance books. Belle always nails it with her books but this one is just beyond amazing. It makes me want to reread the other two books and this one too. I need my sugar rush.
Max devotes his life to his daughter CeeCee who after an accident as a child was left paraplegic. He has no time or inclination for a proper relationship after the trauma his ex wife caused. Max is a really likeable guy even if he does flirt with anything with a pulse.
When she sees him at her sisters wedding, Helena decides Max would be the perfect one night stand, he's funny, sexy and as he's such a flirt she thinks getting him into bed will be easy. BUT when she makes her move, Max totally overlooks her, even going so far as to get her name wrong!
Getting her dream job as a physical therapist, Helena moves to the city where she will be close to her sister... and Max. Whist she still finds Max seriously sexy, after her previous humiliation, Helena is determined to steer of him but Max is not having any of that!
I really enjoyed this book. I absolutely adore Max and Lena is hilarious. As with all of the books in this series I found myself literally laughing out loud at parts and was totally unable to put this down.
I would highly recommend it.
Aww wow i read bella book before and this is so different to her style of writting I fell in love with Helena from the 1st moment she was mentioned she this down to earth pesonal who not afraid to show her real self and Max I wanted to hit him for being so rude.
Helena meets Max at her sisters wedding she finds the courage to talk to him but he rude and walks away from her it not until she gets a new job and she moves closer to him that he notices her and things don't go smoothly for them they have there ups and downs. That is until Ceecee max daughter meets up with someone and all hell breaks loose when he finds out and accuses Helena of setting it up. They do sort out here differences.
The title says it all Sugar Rush as that the only way to describe the relationship between them both
