A lovely book by Sheila O'Flanagan! Strong hard working character you can relate to and with the ending I wanted!

I've just finished this book and I have to say it was a predictable ending. I was a bit annoyed because even though I thought it was a great read, I thought it involved a little too much about the banking side, and was a bit confusing at times. But nonetheless brilliant. I just wish I had saved it for when I was on holiday! I was so eager to get to the end, I actually stayed on the train for 10 minutes after it had reached it's destination to finish it!

The book when i very first started to read it was slightly slow at the beginning but having just recently having had someone end a relatinship with me i found myself relating to the book as silly as it sounds it helped me get over that he wasn't right for me. Being fiction its very well written i even recommended to a friend who in turn agrees with me. I feel i will be reading a lot more of sheila O'Flanagan.

An obvious story that plods along with some nice touches & Irish charm. The descriptions of banking & dealing room activities shows that the author knows what she's talking about. Not the best written book in the world but a good holiday read when the whole family are ill & nothing on the TV.

I found this an easy going read, not to hard to pick up where I left off, but not that gripping that I could not put it down, if you want an easy read for your holiday that you don't have to concentrate to much on I would recomend this book.

The story of Alix had me enthralled from the start . The kind of story you don't want to put down but carry on reading to find out what happens to Alix. Whether she puts her job before love, whether she stays with a man who doesn't want her for who she is. Brilliant!!!

I have not enjoyed this as much as the others I have read, & got a bit bored with the parts about Alix's job - no wonder Paul left her. I just felt that is was too centrered on this. However its still a good read, but obviously not my favourite.
