I reckon that ALL dvds sold in Europe should have subtitles available in their original languages, as an aid to language learners. But, if you buy a French film in France, you never see it with any subtitles, and the same goes for Spanish films bot in Spain. The Portuguese are of course leaders, in that nearly all films are in the original language, with Portuguese subtitles. In Spanish cinemas, 98% of all films are dubbed into Spanish, more's the pity. That's why they are such poor linguists.
