Two separate story lines between the two main characters. First tired African Islamic warlord story, 2nd female marine scientist with a lot of scientific nonsense narrated in the back ground. No real connection that I could see, except they are meant to be submerged in their own fields of work, hence the film title..
Dialog a bit forced, no real sexual chemistry between them.
Give it a miss.
