This product looks ideal, but the dimensions are not advertised and by the time I got around to fitting it found it to be too small I could not return as it was over their 7 days policy. Therefore it will have to go in the bin. I find it strange that the description tells me how much it weighs but not the width or depth. Tried contacting the seller but they did not bother to return my communication - never used Betterware before and will not again. Before you buy contact and obtain dimensions as it may not fit, like mine didn't.

Letterbox

This type of letterbox was just what i needed, but sadly was a little disappointed with it as when i had fixed it on the door it didnt fit flush to the door and also it does not open fully otherwise its ok with the draught excluder. I am a bit dubious of it snapping as it is a kind of plastic so i have put a note on the door to the postman not stuff thick post through it.

Looks good until something is posted through the letter box, then the bristles become deformed thus preventing the flap closing properly which defeats the object of trying to cut out draughts.

OK product, with the correct fitting could be useful for reducing draughts.

However, two warnings, check the measurements of yout internal letter box space, will this productt cover the space?

The external letter box flap catches and sticks to the internal product, nearly making this product useless.

We had a letterbox draught excluder thing that lasted for about 20 years, but then sort of started breaking and finally gave up the ghost. So we needed a replacement. The size of this one was identical - which is obviously what I wanted - although the holes for the screws were slightly differently placed. Nevertheless, we got it fitted and it is super. I just hope it lasts as long as the old one. So far, though, we are very impressed.

Another great way to save energy!

Continuing my "save energy campaign" I decided to try this as my letterbox was letting in a draught.

Simply put this product works, my only wish was that it was adhesive so it was easy to install but to be honest it wasn't that tricky, I'm just lazy and don't like working up a sweat.
