I floved (you will understand why I wrote that when you read the book) everything about this story. Bee is such a likeable character you can’t help but fall in love with her, the same goes for Austin.
It was a slow burn love story; again you will have to read the book to find out why. Hint… Cupid and those arrows. Bee was taught a fundamental lesson from her father, and she certainly learned the hard way.
The moral of the story for me though is beauty isn’t everything, find what lies beneath and love will find you.
Oh, and I have to mention the little sentences at the beginning of each chapter they made me giggle a lot.
I can’t wait to read more books by this author.
*** I voluntarily reviewed this book, I gained no monetary incentives nor was I specifically requested to review the book, these are my honest ramblings and I hope you enjoy reading them - kat***

But, that’s not all this book is about.
Picture if you will, a goddess….
She’s the daughter of Cupid and Psyche. She has unlimited power. She has irreverent friends who encourage her to act impulsively. She has unlimited resources to make everything she could ever want happen. And, she hates her job…
When over half of the love matches made result in hurt feelings, disillusionment and divorce, she just doesn’t see the point. I get it. Why keep churning out potential matches when they don’t appreciate what they’ve been given? So, she does what any employee wishes they could do and revolts. She will no longer be held down by the man and refuses to match any more of what she, and her friend Mac, call Pooptentials.
I have to admit, I was right there with her. I will also admit that my heart hurt a little bit stressing over all the pooptential matches that never had a chance to meet their one true love because she refused to shoot the right person. She gets away with it until her father finally steps in…he can’t have his daughter messing up his legacy, right?
I know some of you will say, “I don’t like mythology based stories.” Well, forget that it has Greek Gods and Goddesses, because that fact becomes irrelevant the further you get into the story. It just becomes a fun story about a girl who likes a guy…and a guy who doesn’t notice the girl…and the pain that comes with knowing that sometimes it’s not as easy as you always thought it was.
If you’re a fan of Kirsty Dallas already, you will love that she drops this mythological quandary right into the middle of the lives of all the characters we’ve come to know and love. Walker, Decker, Bradley, they’re all there! If you’ve never read her before, give Dallas a chance to entertain you, you won’t be disappointed.
Austin was a bit of a jerk, even after the indifference arrow obstacle was overcome.
A few things were left undone, what happens to Maive? Why does Mac always wear a hat?
There were a few editing errors, but they weren't enough to detract from the story.
My knowledge of Greek mythology is pretty much zero so for me this book was pure entertainment and I hope that if anyone is into the facts of mythology that they read this book and take it in the spirit it was meant to be taken. Kirsty Dallas has let her creative juices run wild with this one and has pulled it off with absolute brilliance.
Pheibe Cupid (Bee) has no interest in love. She and her offsider Mac cause complete mayhem everywhere they go. Their antics had me in hysterics at times. When Austin comes along he quite literally turns Bee’s world upside down.
This book is fresh and fun and very different from anything I have read in while. I found myself so caught up in the story and the adventure that I lost track of time and it was 3am before I knew it.
I can say in all honesty that the character development is astounding and who they are at the beginning of the book is very different to who they are at the end.
The journey I was taken on in this story was completely unexpected but absolutely delightful. The anticipation was tangible, the feelings real and the storyline fantastic.
There are lots of romance stories available on the market at the moment and I can say in all certainty that none of them are quite like this. Kirsty Dallas has written an original, funny and sexily entertaining romance that will keep you captivated from page 1 right up until the very end.
I absolutely FLOVED this book!!

This novel follows Phoibe Cupid (aka Bee aka Hedone) the daughter of goddess Psyche and the god Eros. And yes she is from that family of Cupids. But while her parents are all about making the perfect matches and have spent thousands of years doing just that, our Bee is different. She doesn't believe in love and with her bbf Mack at her side they have more fun making trouble and lust matches. Its hard to explain my love for Bee. She is everything I love in a fun novel heroin. Then though in Mack and you cant help but what to read about these two. When Bee's father, Eros, literally grounds her on Earth with no option but to go after her happy ending you cant help but not be able to put the novel down. What's better then reading about Cupids' daughter falling in love and finding out just how wrong she was about love not being worth it.
If you love a sassy female, a swoon worthy perfect match , and a little Gods thrown in for good measure then this is the novel for you.
