The central focus of the Winchester Terrace is also the seat of its power. This beautifully skeletonized timepiece features a floating pure mechanical movement held in place by the spoke-style Roman numeral and baton style indices indicated by blued leaf-style hands. The beveled bezel is polished to a brilliant shine, and the entire piece is finished with an alligator embossed genuine leather strap.
With dedication to the heritage of Swiss watchmaking, Stuhrling Original timepieces appeal to the most discriminating tastes. The company has roots dating back to the 1800's when Switzerland emerged as one of the global leaders in watchmaking. Stuhrling Original remains committed to its mission of preserving the high standards set in Switzerland manufacturing all of their fine timepieces in their Swiss-owned factory.
Each and every model conveys an inimitable story with style. You'll find heirloom selections for both men and women that even the most astute watch collector will cherish and admire.See all Product description

This could have been a very nice simple wind up watch but because when it senses movement it is supposed to switch to using the power from the momentum but what i have found is that is switches to the momentum and then when your not moving it doesn't switch back causing the watch to stop.
This could have just been a defect on my particular watch but for the price it really should at least keep time.
Negatives: there are two details that just spoil this otherwise lovely watch a bit. The first is a small piece of something inside the outer part of the face, stuck to the side of one of the Roman numerals. Might be fluff, could even be a small piece of metal, but either way it's annoying. The second thing is that the glass hasn't been mounted precisely enough so the brand logo is slightly wonky. That's just plain not good enough.
The more I look at the watch the more I'm inclined to drop the rating to three stars, but I can't deny that everyone else who sees it for a few seconds comments on how stunning it is. Hence the four stars overall. It's up to you whether the possibility of a couple of small manufacturing defects is enough to put you off what is otherwise a very good value watch.
Modern, classy and reliable. First watch bought for a long time and already I know I won't part with it for as longer time I live, as I will forever stare at it, each and every time I go to find out what the time is ;) beautiful watch. Made smart, non bulgy, so highly slimline yet strong and empowering to the eye and wrist. A perfect size for me and I'd imagine most men.. although as an insight, I am athletic built with wrists about 5-6 inches in circumference from just measuring with the eye. There are 9 holes to fit the buckle to anyway and I fit it to the 3rd tightest. So therefore I would say I have fairly skinny wrists. My advice would simply be, if your seriously considering a watch you'll love for life and you want it for a style (say at night for a smart look like I try to go for) & you are aged say 16 yrs up/ an adult, then this is the watch for you also!
1) The motion winding does;t seem to work overly well. I inevitably have to and it every day, even if I wear it in bed. Other self-winding watches I've owned have lasted for longer.
2) The strap is hideous, but I just replaced it.
