After working for several years as a school psychologist, it became abundantly clear that many students were struggling in school because they did not possess the necessary study skills to succeed in school. While the school system extensively teaches subjects such as reading, math and history, they fail to teach students how to study. Furthermore, I quickly realized that many students who struggle in school don't have the time, and/or energy to read through a long, in-depth study skills tutorial. Consequently, 'Study Skills 365' was written to aid the struggling student with quick, easy to understand study skills that can be read, and digested, with minimal effort for maximum results. Joshua Shifrin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts.
