Format: Paperback
A comprehensive breakdown of hadith methodology and literature (how they were compiled into the six authentic books of hadith) I found this book particularly useful because it is a short read, I managed to get through it in two days, the information isn't dense, gives you all the basic information that you would need to know, it has proved to be an excellent book for beginning study into the science of hadith. Provides a further reading section for anyone wanting to delve further into the subject.
