Good product it takes a bit of a push to get the cans crunching but once the first dent is in it makes light work of them. It looks attractive and mounted easily and I have more space in the recycling bin now.

Flimsy mechanism.
Handle grip sponge only, needs to be a more firmer product, like rubber or wood for more comfortable grip and ease action for can crushing.

having installed this unit correctly I tested it on arrange of cans. I found it to be more than adequate for aluminium cans crushing them with little effort. Undamaged ribbed cans suck as bean cans and soup cans are a different matter. Increasing pressure results in the levers starting to bow. but if you bend the tins a little it will crush them with a lot of effort and some patience. If you want a crusher which will do heavy tins don't get this one. I am looking for a more robust unit at the moment but I will happily use this for aluminium cans

To use this item you need to squeeze and twist the can sightly before you put in the crusher. If you don't you'll probably end up pulling the whole unit off the wall. Apart from that it's simple to use and has allowed me to substantially reduce the height of the coke cans in my utility room

Rubbish! You've got to be strong to be able to pull the leaver down to squash the cans and when my husband managed to do that the gadget bent out of shape!! Waste of money, back to stamping on them !!!!!

It doesn't do beer cans as I thought . Should keep it simple and describe what cans it crushes. ie. Cola cans.
otherwise its a very strongly built item and well suited to the task .
