I'd have given this 5 stars but for the distracting lack of proofreading. Presumably during the conversion to the Kindle version every occurence of 'tl' has been replaced by 'd'. This gets very tiring after a while, combined with hyphens in the middle of words that perhaps once occured at the end of a line but don't in this version, and a tendency to leave out the space and full stop at the end of some sentences. The other common irritating substitution is when there is a capital' J ' followed by a 'u' and a number, as in the aircraft designation Junkers Ju 88. Without fail this appears as 'ju88', usually run into the preceeding word. Other careless things are all over the place, such as 'P 5 I' for 'P51' (Mustang), which is given correctly in the picture captions.
This may seem like nit picking, but in an otherwise engrossing book that skillfully mixes accounts from multiple sources to give a believable description of the events depicted you keep getting pulled up short and it ruins the experience. Altogether an amateur production.

Really enjoyed reading this book about part of the war against the Axis that I knew very little about. Well researched and written in a way that is easy to follow the movements of the squadrons detailed in the text. My only issue with it, is that it needs to be proof read again, as there are many instances where "tl" in a word has become "d". Apart from this small niggle found it a good read and would recommend to anyone interested in World War Two history.

This book would be a good read if it was not spoiled by so many type errors. Please sort this out for other potential purchasers

Very clear and well written however the book was let down by hundreds of spelling mistakes. The detail was there and is well illustrated
