This is a nice bit of kit spoilt by one thing - why did they have to penny pinch on the amount of lead! The use guide shows the chord draped over the shoulder so that the lead doesn't get in the way. Good luck with that! I spent the whole time dragging my extension lead around with the plug constantly coming out - very-frustrating!
I would have been happy to pay a bit more for a decent length of chord.

Having used this as described, I find it to be pretty good for the money and has achieved the outcome I had hoped for, without many hours of elbow grease and sore muscles.

I had to repair some paintwork that had been badly scuffed, and with the aide of this tool have managed to get an acceptable finish on the car, with no sign of the original scuff.
Now onto the next step and polish the whole car.

I have seen reviews on similar products to this, which I read before purchasing and was a bit anxious. However when looking at some of the remarks made and the low star ratings, I can easily see that most are due to operator error.
Some say the pads fly off, however the ones supplied with this model stay on very firmly even if it is a bit tight to get them on. I did buy some others, which do have elastic which is not as strong as those supplied, however the packet does say that they should only be operated when the polisher is in contact with the vehicle. A quick test showed they indeed flew off when not in contact. A case of not reading the instructions I fear.
Others have made comments that the motor slows and burns out when applying pressure. Simply put, the idea of a polisher is that you do not need elbow grease, and should not be applying pressure.

I find the instructions to be very clear and precise, and the machine very adequate to the task of a polisher, when used correctly.

I do not normally leave reviews but just had to.
Cannot believe I have been polishing by hand all my life and not using one of these, no more wrist elbow and arm ache for the sake of 20 quid and a far better job, use it as directed and all is good and it will out seeds any amateur motor enthusiasts needs.
Also purchase a set of extra covers while your at it.

First polisher I've ever used it bought. I used it for polishing a wooden table and it did a fantastic job. I agree with the other reviews in that the cable is too short and I'd have to say the the citation through it's not the best. I wouldn't use it for more than 20 mins at a go although to be fair you shouldn't need to use it longer than this

It works but getting the polishing bonnet on is a real hassle, much better if it had been hook and loop.
