Format: Audio CD
This has everything a funk lover could want, except possibly vocals. From beginning to end it maintains a tight rhythm section with catchy driving bass lines and a satisfying drum sound. This is complimented by a wonderfully creative blend of guitar, sax & keyboards, all executed with top-notch musical proficiency.
The recording quality is also very good, and unlike the 70s funk it is reminiscent of, the bass is pleasingly bassy!
Relax to it, drive to it, dance to it - this is an album that you will never tire of.

...you'll love it. Almost entirely instrumentals influenced by 70's jazz funk movie / television scores, a rare musical style to find, and so convincing you'd believe you're walking down the street with Huggy Bear.

An exellent example of the "Acid Jazz" sound at its best! Infused with the finest funk, very reminicent of early JTQ . Tight punchy rhythms , dynamic horns and smooth basslines make this an essential purchase for anybody wanting to hear one of the best projects from this era.
