An adequate thriller but the ending kind of spoils the movie. A thirty something American couple go away to a secluded house in Spain, but are disturbed by the sudden appearance of a young woman claiming her boyfriend has just died in an accident. The rest is somewhat predictable and it is clear from the start what is going on. There are some scenes of disturbing violence and torture near the beginning of the movie. Also a few nude and sexual scenes. Not at all original and not something I would watch again.

Emily (Estella Warren) is an actress who is married to Robert (William Baldwin), a psychologist. Emily has issues, especially having to deal with the fact her friend Sophie (Katia Winter) killed herself. Emily is later kidnapped and tortured by an unknown assailant. Her husband takes her away to an island as a get away, only to have Sarah (Sarah Butler) show up, a woman who just lost her boyfriend at a nearby cliff accident.

This is a film where you suspect the twist is coming. The actors were less than convincing in their roles in an improbable plot that felt phoney. The film is fairly boring, even during the 'exciting" parts.

Parental Guide: F-bomb, sex, rape, nudity (Sarah Butler)

William Baldwin and estella warren, get involved in a game of cat and mouse, any thing with estella warren in is going to be hot. But William Baldwin must feel the luckiest man alive after getting to have some erotic scenes with estella. One scene he plays in some detail with her stunning breasts.

Stupendously awful dialogue, incessant terrible music, appalling direction and a terrible storyline. How the hell do these films ever get made? William Baldwin, who was once groomed for movie stardom, now resembles a ventriloquist's dummy and there's one hilarious moment where he gets slapped in the face and looks just like Edward Scissorhands. Avoid like chlamydia.

Wooden acting didn't improve this B-movie which had a straight to TV feel to it. The score had the finesse of a tin of corned beef while the script left a lot to be desired.
I couldn't say it was dreadful and watched on a wet winter Sunday on TV it would fill the time, but as a cinema film it was decidedly poor.

I am not a critical person by nature, I can usually watch a film and find good points ALWAYS but... this film is pathetic.. less than a B movie. Poor poor acting, and the plot... well you could be blind and still work it out, wooden and amateur. My recommendation.. Don't bother.

The trailer did a good job of making this film look good, however it was a waste of time. I've seen much better made for TV films. Should have known it would be bad when I saw W. Baldwin's name. Lots of plot holes and a shoddy storyline. Not recommended at all.
