Product description

Product Description

Double bill of independent spin-offs from 'Doctor Who'. In 'The Stranger: In Memory Alone', the Stranger (Colin Baker) arrives at a remote station in a steam engine, which promptly disappears. He has lost all memory of his identity, as has his companion, Miss Brown (Nicola Bryant). Their only other company is an eccentric bowler-hatted commuter, who is anxious to prevent them from breaking through a wall situated in the bowels of the station. A ten-minute 'making of' documentary is included in the feature. 'Bidding Adieu' is seventh Doctor Sylvester McCoy's video diary, recording his handing over of the role in 1996 to Paul McGann for the American-produced television movie. McCoy chats to co-stars McGann and Daphne Ashbrook on location in Canada, as well as interviewing former William Hartnell/Patrick Troughton companion Anneke Wills.
