This soft cover 96 page volume is organized into four chapters. Chapter one covers Bigfoot and other monsters. Chapter two explores reported alien encounters. Chapter three expounds about the many strange things in the world such as Easter Island statues, the Bermuda triangle and other mysteries. Chapter four explores reports of lost worlds. There is also a glossary section.
What I like about this book is that it approaches the subjects in an objective manner. It first reports the incident and then provides some reasoned answers to many of these mysteries. Each of the chapters is short and to the point making this book an easy to read volume. Even though this book is for younger readers; nevertheless, anyone who has an interest in the unusual will enjoy reading this book.
Just keep in mind this is not a detailed exploration of these topics and merely provide a very basic overview of each subject.
