High-caliber writing at its best
24 March 2014 - Published on Amazon.com
Bizarre, surreal, humorous, sexy... it's amazing what the mind of Jason Erik Lundberg conjures up in this collection of short stories. I suspect that Lundberg would cite Neil Gaiman as one of his influences, as a quite few of the tales contain supernatural beings that could very well pop out of "American Gods"--but then again, which magical surrealist writer wouldn't? Lundberg, though, makes every one of these stories his own. Even though one or two stories fall short of expectation and don't quite fit in with the rest of the collection, this is high-caliber writing at its best and worth more than what it is priced as a Kindle ebook.
