Product description

The Stott Pilates Superior Balance DVD includes 32 exercises demonstrated by Master Instructor Trainers Moira Merrithew and PJ O'Clair. This highly advanced 45-minute workout requires using a stability ball and an exercise mat (not included). It has been designed to simulate toning, stretching, and lengthening moves performed in an intermediate Reformer routine. The workout is aimed at toning abdominal muscles, developing spinal strength and neuromuscular functions. It will also help you improve stabilization, balance and control. Apart from the workout demonstration, the DVD offers bonus features such as: review the Stott Pilates Five Basic Principles, bonus workout - try the next level, work out with music only, preview other video titles, meet the instructors, check out Stott Pilates equipment, learn about instructor training.

This is a great DVD for Pilates on the Ball. It is a tough workout & really works the whole body. I have had it for some time & really enjoy. However, make sure that you are advanced at Pilates before you try this DVD, i.e. take advanced matwork classes or else you may injure yourself by not being strong enough to do the exercises properly.

Pleasantly surprised by how challenging this was. I watch these videos first before doing the workouts. It looks easy when you're watching but once you do them - it's a different story. I worked up a sweat and using the ball encourages stability and chalenges muscles you don't normally work.

I am a Pilates teacher and I really liked this DVD. THe instruction is clear and concise. THe exercises start relatively easy and then get very difficult. The instructors are very informative. I loved that they took Reformer exercises and put them on the ball. If you know Reformer, you will really enjoy these exercises with the ball.

Not a good workout for someone who has never tried Stability Ball. But a great workout for a Pilates student who wants to improve balance and strength.

A bought this DVD awhile ago and have comepleted the workout several times. Many of the exercises are difficult, and a couple of them I haven't yet mastered. But I'll keep trying! The workout is demonstrated in a clear and accessible way. Moira Merrithew takes such a low-key approach that even the most challenging moves seem possible.
