Excellent history of Irish dance especially for a novice

I really knew nothing about Irish dance other than the fact that I love to watch. My mother gave me this book after a trip to Ireland and once I opened it I couldn't stop reading. The author teaches and entertains at the same time. I ended up learning quite a bit and wanting to know more. A very good read!
