Good for All Ages

Storm of Crimson may have been targeted at teens, but it is a well written and exciting story that will appeal to all ages. I found the characters of Sydney, Jinx, and Merrick compelling and their story definitely held my interest. The paranormal aspects were believable and the series promises to be quite intriguing. Can't wait for the next volume!

Love her Books, both YA and Adult!

Jo Lewis/Jo Robertson never fails me when it comes to good, fast-paced storytelling and this wonderful YA is no exception. As a fan of her work for Adults (Frail Blood, The Bigler County Romance/Thriller series), I wasn't sure I wanted to "go" for the YA, given that it's a paranormal and for kids. However, it's brilliant, just like her adult books. The tensions are set the minute Payton comes to town and he's the catalyst for Jinx & Sydney and the mysterious force of evil to start moving. Wow! Shivery good fun and a thrilling finish, which I won't spoil. Get this one and the next and the next as well! I hope Ms. Lewis/Robertson will continue this series!!

I really enjoyed this young adult read by Jo Lewis. I am a fan of her adult books and didn't think I would be interested in what I expected to be too tame a book for me. I was pleasantly surprised! The characters are dynamic and interesting. I loved the chemistry between the two main characters and I appreciated how fast paced it is. But what really captivated me was how CLEVER the story is! These teenagers suddenly discover they have supernatural powers and must defeat a dark presence that threatens their small town. It's entertaining from the very first page to the last. AND I would let my 13 year old read it for SURE!
